There’s one line I really agree with: “People always overestimate what can be done in one year, but underestimate what can be done in ten.” Think about it—tokenized stocks have only been around for two or three months, yet they’re already moving that fast. Ten years from now? Honestly, I can’t even imagine. Buying US stocks is so troublesome for Asians—you have to get up in the middle of the night to trade. With tokenization, these pain points basically disappear.
Someone asked whether governments should stockpile Bitcoin. He suggested allocating based on market cap to the top five assets. Bitcoin would make up more than half, while ETH, BNB, and SOL would follow. He also said Bitcoin will eventually be more important than gold, and that the size gap is currently about 10x. Hearing this from his mouth means everyone in and outside the crypto world will weigh it carefully.
When it came to which country regulates best, he said the UAE is the most progressive, and Hong Kong is pushing ahead quickly too. He also subtly hinted that: the countries he personally visited are basically genuinely willing to get into crypto—take a closer look.
As for AI, he said that in the future, AI agents buying and selling things will definitely use crypto, starting with stablecoins. He also revealed that he has talked with several big AI companies about issuing tokens—because building data centers is too expensive, issuing tokens can solve the funding problem.
