SK Group plans to sell a 49% stake in its Ulsan, South Korea AI data center to several private equity firms. According to ChainCatcher, SK Telecom and SK Broadband are expected to approve the transaction at a board meeting on August 27.
KKR will acquire a 29% stake, while a consortium formed by IMM Investment and Stonebridge Capital will buy the remaining 20%. The deal values the data center at about 3 trillion won and includes about 1.2 trillion won in capital increase.
