The official announcement is very clear: starting 12:00 UTC on August 26, Trump Media & Technology Group (DJTB) can be used as an eligible collateral asset for Cross Margin, Portfolio Margin, and Portfolio Margin Pro—corresponding bStocks trading pairs will also have margin trading enabled.
I’m particularly focused on two points:
1. bStocks is continuing to move from “tradable” toward “account asset component”;
2. DJTB is trading at around 9.48U, up +0.85% over 24h; 24h trading volume is about 37.14 million U—the hype isn’t being propped up by a blowout surge.
But don’t interpret this as an unconditional good thing: the announcement also states that borrowing is not supported currently—only VIP3+ users in limited compliant regions. Tokenized securities are not the same as directly holding shares; you need to clearly check the rules, eligibility by region, and order book depth.
