$XAU I recognized the “double top at four thousand seven” yesterday; today the order book won’t let it be recognized—on the spot market, the buy orders in the top 20 levels are three times (and a bit more) than the sell orders. The gold price simply wasn’t planning to go down. When the price is driven into the lower intraday band, the buys still get filled without fail. The spread is so thin that a buy and a sell nearly lock together—page in black and white in the order book says it’s heading upward. Even on the futures side, it doesn’t cause any trouble: the主动买盘 (active buy orders) are more than half, and the long-to-short ratio still leans bullish. This batch of buying isn’t just talk.
