#dusk $DUSK @Dusk Checked something on Dusk this morning that changed how I read the whole staking pitch.

Dusk Foundation's own numbers: over 30% of DUSK supply is currently staked, earning roughly 27% variable APR. That's not a typo — nearly a third of supply locked, compounding at institutional-yield levels most TradFi products can't touch.

Here's the part that bugged me. That 27% isn't funded by magic. It comes from token emissions plus transaction fees, and per the docs, most collected fees get redistributed back to stakers and block generators — they don't leave supply. So the reward pool paying out 27% is mostly minted, not earned from network usage yet.

Ran a rough scenario: someone staking 10,000 DUSK today collects close to 2,700 new DUSK a year in rewards. Multiply that across roughly a third of total supply, every year, on a network still waiting for its first real wave of institutional settlement volume through NPEX and similar rails.

The staking side is already running at full speed. The fee-generating side — actual RWA issuance, ZK-KYC checks, private contract execution — is still ramping.

So here's my honest question: at 27% APR paid mostly from emissions, how much real institutional transaction volume would Dusk need to make staking yield self-funding instead of dilutive? $ONG $ZRO
