💀 One of PONS’s most painful “selling early” moments
Someone bought nearly 20 million PONS for just about $432 when the new MCAP was only ~ $22K.
Then sold the entire position at ~ $39K MCAP, for a profit of around $400.
👉 If held until now, that position could be worth roughly $2.3–2.4 million USD when PONS’s MCAP is in the 80–100M+ range. Today’s short-term ATH is reported by some sources to be around $115M.
So what drove PONS?
• Became the #1 launchpad on Robinhood, a new L2 pulling in meme volume
• Protocol revenue is used for buybacks & burns similar to $PUMP —could be considered Robinhood’s pump.fun.
• An easy-to-spread narrative, while the initial valuation is still low

💡 Lesson: In crypto, sometimes it’s not buying the right one that’s hard—it's holding it long enough.
⚠️ PONS is extremely volatile and highly dependent on on-chain speculative activity. This is not investment advice.
