SAMSUNG: In just 24 hours, it only rose 0.15%. The price is holding just below the 15-minute moving average—yet on the account side, 66% of the whole market is still long. But this “conviction” can’t even support a decent bullish candle.
The big-money order book is even more convoluted: 70% of accounts are long, and that share is still climbing, but on the position side longs are down to just 48.5%. The long/short ratio is 0.94, already net bearish. Lots of heads are piling in, but the real money is on the short side.
On the contract side, the direction is spelled out plainly: the funding rate is -0.018% (negative), passive/active sell orders make up 55%, open interest has risen 4.4% even after seven hours, and the newly added positions are all being built up by shorts.
Spot shows net inflow of 0 for big orders, and the small amount of buy volume on the order book can’t withstand the sell pressure coming from the futures side.
So I’m going short this trade. The 20-period MA is at 188.3 overhead pressure. If it breaks below 187.7, look for the prior low at 184.8. Only when open interest turns lower and the price reclaims the moving average can the shorts truly withdraw—until then, don’t go with the longs.
