Bernstein’s major forecast: Will Bitcoin hit $1.5 million in 2027, with the top at $3 million?
In a new research report, top investment bank Bernstein has offered its long-term price outlook for Bitcoin:
Under the baseline scenario, BTC’s mid-2027 level could reach $150,000, with this cycle’s peak potentially looking toward $300,000. If institutional capital accelerates its inflows, the extreme case could see Bitcoin touch $200,000 as early as 2027, and in the longer term, it could even be as high as $1 million.
The logic is straightforward: the U.S. national debt continues to rise; amid expectations of currency devaluation, Bitcoin—an scarce safe-haven asset—will continue to attract traditional capital inflows.
But stay clear-eyed: research reports are only institutional projections, and uncertainty will always exist in the market. Don’t go all-in just because of one report.
In crypto, expectations come first. What truly determines the market is still capital flows and macroeconomic policy.
