33% vs 67% — this number made me take a second look.

Today BTR is up 162%, surging from a low of 0.032 all the way to 0.098—its price has tripled.
But right now, people holding shorts are exactly twice as many as those holding longs.

Most are betting it will drop back down.

This situation is actually fairly rare in the market—it's a coin that has already surged a lot, yet the shorts are still adding to their positions in the opposite direction.
The logic behind it might be, “It’s risen too fast, so it must pull back.”
But if the shorts are wrong, the forced-liquidation chain reaction could push it up even further.

On the 8-hour K-line chart, every candle is a volume-backed advance—trading volume has jumped from a few million to the 1-billion level.
The funding rate is still very low (0.003%), which suggests the long side hasn’t paid high carrying costs for its positions,
while the short side faces much greater pressure.

I don’t know whether it can keep rising,
but this extreme imbalance between longs and shorts is, by itself, a signal worth watching.
