BMT surged 48% within 24 hours, and I don’t think it’s over yet.
But I advise you not to chase.
Tonight $BTC broke below 79,000, and the funding rate is still stuck at 0.0053—so the bears haven’t died out.
In this kind of market, how did $BMT still manage an independent run-up of 48%? A position size of 22.3M was put in so huge—so what is this called? Either the project team staged the pump-and-dump themselves, or it’s deliberately inserting a needle to liquidate long positions in perpetuals.
I’m watching from the sidelines, not entering.
Look at the other side—NFP got smashed down 65%. At the price of 0.00181, it’s basically hovering near zero. This kind of drop isn’t a normal pullback; it’s a sign that the project is running away or that the perpetuals are getting caught in a chain liquidation.
VANRY, PYR, and VIC all fell 30%-50% across the board. The overall market isn’t in total collapse, but these smaller coins are kneeling first—what does that indicate? Capital is withdrawing from junk coins.
My take: this spike in the small caps is a signal of distribution, not an opportunity. $BTC hasn’t stabilized yet; the volatility in these coins is a trap, not a bargain.
Do you think these coins that just got hammered are waiting for some good project news, or are you just going to delete them from your watchlist?
