This move isn’t simple.
$PHB dropped nearly 70% in a single night—the price was smashed straight down to 0.015. I checked the trading volume: only $1.5M. That isn’t a huge level, which suggests there aren’t many people hitting the sell wall. But the price was pushed down that hard—either the liquidity/depth was too poor and got precisely targeted, or the project team is distributing/selling off. A normal pullback can’t realistically drop 70% in one day. This is clearly panic and stampede selling.
Next, take a look at $NFP: it fell 66%, with volume of $3.8M—more active than PHB. Both the buy and sell sides are moving, but the bids can’t hold/absorb. For a coin of this size, without any supportive news catalyst, a sudden collapse like this is most likely the “whale/market maker” exiting the market—leaving a mess behind.
BTC is only down 1.69%, and the broader market is stable. Yet small-cap coins are spilling blood—this isn’t overall market panic; it’s an isolated event affecting specific coins. The more this kind of situation happens, the more you need to restrain your hands. Don’t think that because it’s down a lot it’s automatically an opportunity—if you can’t catch a falling knife, don’t reach in.
Can the bulls still hold?
