The U.S. Treasury has started guarding against “quantum hackers”

Is the market freaking out?

The U.S. Treasury recently did something pretty interesting

Set up a Quantum Readiness Task Force

In other words, if quantum computers become so powerful that they can break through today’s encryption algorithms

the U.S. financial system has to prepare in advance

And the most important part is this:

the Treasury’s task force has explicitly listed the risks to digital assets too

That’s related to the crypto world

Because the security of Bitcoin wallets, signatures, and transactions is essentially built on cryptography

Right now, nobody can break or crack it by force

But in theory, quantum computers can

So this needs attention

Otherwise, if someone builds a quantum computer and then everything gets cracked, it’ll be a mess

In the financial world, security is the top priority

Money is smart

It only goes where things are secure

Many people think this news is bad for the market

But I think it’s good news

Because the government is taking the security risks of the encryption industry seriously

It’s also an indirect admission of the real-world status of digital assets

It shows that cryptocurrencies are being accepted more and more by official institutions and the public$

Do you agree?
