$XAU The Brent oil futures contracts fell during the U.S. session

Brent oil futures fell during the U.S. session on Tuesday.
According to the New York Mercantile Exchange, crude oil futures for October traded at USD82.19 per barrel at the time of writing, down 3.32%.

The contract had previously traded on a decline of USD81.54 per barrel. Crude oil may find support at USD81.54 and resistance at USD87.69.

The U.S. Dollar Index futures, which measures the performance of the U.S. currency against a basket of six other major currencies, fell by 0.11% to trade at USD98.82.

At the same time on NYMEX, the November Brent oil price fell by 3.76% to trade at USD87.14 per barrel, while the point spread (spread) between Brent oil contracts and crude oil stands at USD4.95 per barrel.
