That electronic lock at the entrance of our community— the more openly the manual is written, the less I dare to let my parents go and press the button first.

As for Hugging Face, to me it looks like the AI crowd uses open-source models as security guards, while at the same time fearing that the guard might learn how to pick locks in the middle of the night.

I lean toward thinking this kind of “open-source security narrative” will be told and pushed in the short term by chasing capital.

They say transparency is safer, but when real loopholes show up, if the barriers aren’t enough, they aren’t enough—having the code out there doesn’t automatically mean the risk is smaller.

Even an old-timer like $BTC didn’t get any respect on the emotional side; it hardly moved around for 24 hours, just grinding back and forth within 77851 to 81272. The spot is only 1.966 billion, while the futures go all the way to 18.85 billion— the 9.6x leverage flavor is too strong. The funding rate is only +0.0089%, and the longs haven’t been able to force it much either.

With a market like this, if you tell me AI safety stories can break away and run with sustained momentum, I really can’t back that up.

I admit: if suddenly big-name companies start integrating, along with compliance follow-ups, then emotions could ignite all at once.

But for now, it feels more like the story runs first, and the cash comes later.

If you really think this kind of theme can rally and lead right away, then tell me this—when even $BTC is this dull, who’s going to carry the sedan for them?
