Texas Gov. Greg Abbott just announced the state will lower flags to honor Dolly Parton.

This comes after President Trump ordered American flags lowered nationwide.

"So sad to lose this legend. Texas will lower our flags in her honor. God Bless Dolly," Abbott wrote.

Both state and federal flags now at half-staff for the country music icon.
