Like those bubble-tea shops outside a mall where there’s always a line—if you pass by for five days and keep seeing people waiting, you can’t help but wonder: is it really that good, or is everyone just afraid of missing out?
In these past two days, $SOL has felt a bit like that.
A CoinDesk report said that Solana ETF funds have been flowing in for 5 straight days, which is the biggest wave of inflows this year.
I’m not treating this as a one-day emotion-driven news story.
When the ETF keeps bringing in money, it means the slower, over-the-counter crowd is starting to be willing to get into $SOL .
Once that slow money comes in, the market’s confidence in the stories it tells gets a lot firmer.
But the price action isn’t overheated either—this kind of state is actually more appealing and sustainable than a one-day explosive surge.
I just glanced at the overall market: $BTC is still hovering around 79136, with a 24-hour high of 81272 and a low of 77851—volatility isn’t small.
What’s more eye-catching, though, is that derivatives trading volume has hit 21387M, while spot is only 2506M—about 8.5 times the gap.
The funding rate is only +0.0100%, with 107146 $BTC in open interest.
Put into plain human language: right now the overall market is noisy, and people actually buying coins with real money aren’t as crazy as you might think. More often, it’s derivatives traders fighting each other.
In this kind of environment, I’d rate what’s coming in via the ETF a bit higher.
I already suffered from this kind of situation last time.
When the news first dropped, I thought it was slow, so I went chasing the ones that were popping fast. In the end, the fast move was the one that reversed and pulled back, while the slow one ground higher steadily.
I might be wrong about one thing.
If $BTC can’t hold up and the contract market first drags the sentiment down, then it’ll be hard for $SOL to fly on its own.
My stance is pretty clear right now: I’m more bullish on this $SOL line. I won’t chase the highs and wildly jump in. If I have to choose, I’d rather wait for a pullback and stand on its side.
So what do you think—these 5 days of incoming money are from right at the opening, or has it already been played out after the news cycle?

That’s my view. Your money, you decide.
