Investment firm Strive bought 1110 BTC — its reserves reached 21 356 BTC

One of the largest bitcoin holders, the company Strive, bought 1110 BTC at an average price of $73.4 thousand. It spent about $81.5 million on the purchase, increasing its bitcoin reserve to 21,356 BTC.

To finance the purchase, it sold common and preferred shares on the open market as part of capital-raising programs. On the eve of the report on the purchase of a new batch of bitcoins, the company’s CEO, Matt Cole, noted that “the next bitcoin cycle will be the most powerful in history.”

He also believes that in a world where AI is becoming cheap and widely accessible, capital is increasingly valuing assets that cannot be artificially reproduced (i.e., bitcoin, gold, and other assets with scarce supply).

Strive is ranked seventh among the largest companies that use bitcoin as a reserve. It uses a similar accumulation strategy to that of Michael Saylor’s Strategy—selling its own shares and raising debt capital to buy bitcoin.
