TAC rebounded by about 42% in a day, and could remain paused until August 22: is this a repair expectation, or a liquidity illusion after the chain is halted?

On August 23, the project team said the Cosmos EVM side vulnerability only affected the TAC token’s supply, followed by a temporary chain halt. As of 16:11 today, the official explorer still shows the chain paused at block 24,671,475. The price has woken up—while the chain hasn’t.

Perpetual trading volume is about $110 million USDT; the price has retreated roughly 13.5% from its intraday high. Over the past ~3 hours, coin-denominated open interest increased by only ~1.4%, corresponding to a value decrease of about ~4.5%. The funding rate is around +0.040%. There’s no evidence of repair confirmation, nor of one-sided leveraged inflows.

I checked the project’s official website and on-chain explorer, and so far I haven’t seen any new announcement that the chain has been restored or any repair plan has been implemented.

Open $TAC to view the real-time K line, volume, and open positions. If the price surges again while the chain still doesn’t produce blocks—that divergence is what we should be watching most.
