If your account suddenly jumps from tens of thousands to millions, my first sentence is absolutely not “congratulations”—it’s a reminder: starting today, there are 9 things you must never touch in the #crypto world.
After staying in this space for long enough, you’ll realize that making money is only the first round. Keeping your mind clear after you have money—that’s the real difficulty.
These 9 lines—my suggestion is: if you’ve truly made money, remember them.
First, don’t tell everyone you trade crypto.
How much you made, what coins you hold, how big your account is—those are for you to know. A lot of trouble is said out loud.
Second, post fewer screenshots of profit charts and asset charts.
You don’t need the whole world to “prove” you made 1 million. The more money you have, the more you should learn to hide it.
Third, don’t suddenly show off your wealth.
Fancy cars, luxury watches, and daily posts of consumption records—other than satisfying a few minutes of vanity, there’s no real benefit to you.
Fourth, after your wealth grows, make fewer circle connections.
It’s not about acting like you’ve become heartless toward relatives and friends; it’s that people who only want to borrow money, fish for insider information, or pull you into investments—if you should keep distance, then keep distance.
Fifth, don’t touch gambling or drugs.
One destroys your judgment, and one destroys your body. After barely making money from the market, don’t end up handing it away in places like these.
Sixth, don’t argue with bad people about winning or losing.
On the internet, if you “win” an argument against ten people, your account won’t gain even 1U. If you encounter someone who drains you, just stay away—it’s easier than trying to reason.
Seventh, don’t go around acting like a savior just because you have money.
Helping others is fine, but you must set boundaries. Especially when it comes to borrowing money, guaranteeing loans, or investing on behalf of others—if you can avoid it, avoid it.
Eighth, if you don’t understand a business, don’t assume you’ll be good at it just because you have money.
Making money in the crypto world doesn’t mean you’ll definitely succeed in running restaurants, building companies, or pitching projects. Before crossing industries, first fill in your knowledge gaps.
Ninth, don’t start a business on a sudden impulse.
If you really want to do it, first calculate cash flow, costs, and the worst-case scenario. Using investment money to fill a pit you know nothing about can still lead you to lose everything back quickly.
I’ve seen too many people who got turned around by market conditions in the first half, but in the second half—because of their ego and inflation—they end up gradually messing away the hard-earned money.
So after wealth grows, I actually prefer just four words:
Low-key. Self-restraint.
The market may still give you opportunities, but some life mistakes—really, they’re not that easy to redo.
This isn’t something I wrote just because it sounds good—I’m sharing it to remind myself too.
