A big 81k slice is here. The 76k dip had everyone “buy the dip and go all in.” Everyone is on board, right? If you’re not on board, don’t board. If you board again, the probability of getting trapped is high—the pressure levels keep getting heavier.
I admit I had a bit of inertia in my thinking earlier. I only used a strategy of selling high and buying low, which meant that when a breakout happened, I didn’t chase long around 67k in time, missing the subsequent surge of more than 10k points. Over the weekend, two days of sideways consolidation gave a clear chance—I decisively boarded at 76k. Now I’ve basically captured a 6k gain. I’ve reduced spot holdings to cut risk while continuing to hold, waiting for a shorting opportunity.
When opportunity comes, you’ve got to seize it. Even though this is just a squeeze-rally rebound within a bear market, many of my brothers are going to die in this squeeze rally.
