August 25 Morning News: BTC again attacks 80,000! Is the bull market really back? The market keeps moving higher, but those who chased higher prices are already getting slapped.

$BTC is just one step away from 80k, and today it’s again testing this integer level. $ETH is also steadily closing in on a key spot.

On the news front:

Arthur Hayes believes that if the U.S. Treasury continues to increase liquidity injections, Bitcoin may have the chance to start another round of upside.

The U.S. Treasury plans to impose secondary sanctions on Iran-related industries, and digital assets are included within the scope.

Uniswap’s weekly burn volume hit a new high, with an annualized figure of 31 million tokens.

Spot gold has already touched $4,670 and is up slightly on the day.

Nvidia has closed lower for seven straight days, setting the longest losing streak since 2022.

Bessent continues to push for U.S. debt buybacks, aiming to suppress yields, but Castle Securities questions whether this could further worsen inflation pressure.

Other scattered updates include: entropy completes fundraising and secures HYPE staking support; Pump’s trading volume has increased for five consecutive weeks; U.S.-Canada talks face more twists due to tariffs; and France’s investigation into Telegram is still ongoing.

Personally, what I care about most right now is whether crypto has truly entered a bull market—or if this is just a rebound. Meanwhile, the U.S. stock market looks somewhat weak. The market, as always, is torturous—those who chased highs these days are likely trapped again.

Today’s key levels and opportunities—I’ll share them in the chatroom as well. If you want to follow along, just jump in.
