📊 WHAT DID CRYPTO’S LAST WEEKEND LEAVE US?
The market ended an interesting weekend: Bitcoin showed a taste for risk, but it also made something clear that we must respect: volatility.
$BTC was the star. It was coming off its best week since 2023, up by nearly 23%, and it held around US$77,000 before showing profit-taking. In addition, Bitcoin and Ether ETFs recorded US$2.6 billion in inflows during the week. This is key: it’s not just speculation—there is capital looking for exposure to the sector. (The Block)
$ETH also deserves attention. Its move followed BTC’s, and it brings up a question again: are we seeing a rotation into the large altcoins?
In memecoins, $DOGE showed activity. On August 22 it came close to US$0.10, although it finished Sunday around US$0.092. Interest is still there, but entering out of FOMO can be costly. (Yahoo Finance)
And on Binance Alpha, $SPX caught my attention. SPX6900 hovered around US$0.46 over the weekend, and its recent behavior reflects a demand for risk tokens. Alpha may offer opportunities, but it can also bring much more abrupt moves. (binance.com)
🔥 My take: BTC and ETH show strength; DOGE represents speculative appetite, and SPX reflects the search for aggressive opportunities.
Now comes the question: is the market starting a new bullish phase, or are we simply enjoying a strong rebound?
