#Dusk $VELVET #Dusk $PROM $DUSK @Dusk
i keep thinking if im buying one XSC security with Phoenix DUSK, then the whole thing should probably be private in one clean way.

like one trade, one confidentiality model, done.

except Dusk apparently makes the money and the thing im buying live through completely different machinery underneath.

the DUSK side can stay shielded through Phoenix. encrypted notes, hidden value movement, then that DUSK crosses through the Transfer Contract without suddenly needing to become Moonlight-style public money.

but the XSC side isnt another Phoenix note.

thats where my brain keeps trying to cheat.

because Zedger isnt hiding a payment there. its keeping the XSC ownership confidential while the Confidential Security Contract still cares who is actually allowed to hold that security.

so wait. same trade, but Phoenix is protecting the payment while Zedger is protecting the security ownership, and DuskVM still doesnt need to turn either side into the other just to deal with both.

thats the weird part.

i kept thinking confidentiality should be one wrapper around the whole trade, when really the Phoenix side can keep the shielded DUSK movement private while the XSC side satisfies its holder rules and Zedger keeps that security ownership confidential.

and somehow DuskDS can settle the trade without first forcing the Phoenix side and the Zedger side into one shared privacy shape.

which is probably where i kept making the trade simpler than it is.

apparently “one trade” was making me expect one privacy system.

but Phoenix can stay Phoenix, Zedger can stay Zedger, and DuskDS still has to finish the same trade underneath.
