#Cuba #USA | 🚨 The authorities of the Cuban regime announced this Saturday the "multiplication of defense activities" throughout the country, as part of the "combat preparation" against a potential military aggression from the United States.
The Secretary of Organization of the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC), Roberto Morales, expressed on social media: "Defense activities are multiplying throughout the country. The war of the entire people is our strategic doctrine and the words 'surrender' and 'defeat' are erased."
Morales accompanied his message with images of military exercises, in which dictator Miguel Díaz-Canel appears in green uniform alongside what seem to be missiles.
Both Díaz-Canel and other high-ranking military officials have conducted these practices for four consecutive Saturdays, following the capture of Nicolás Maduro that occurred after the U.S. intervention on January 3.
The exercises include ambush drills, training for placing mines, protection of the population, and classes in areas such as military health and defense against weapons of mass extermination.
The National Defense Council approved two weeks ago the "plans and measures" that enable the "State of War", although state media did not detail what they consist of.
After the U.S. operation in Venezuela, the Cuban regime intensified its verbal confrontation with Washington. During a ceremony honoring fallen soldiers in Caracas, Díaz-Canel stated: "There is no surrender or possible capitulation" in the face of a potential U.S. attack.$MERL $RIVER $SOL
