INTERLINK: 7 KEY PRIORITIES FOR THE NEXT CHAPTER
InterLink is entering a new phase with a number of strategic focus areas that will shape the development of the ecosystem ahead:
1. Post-Quantum Security
InterLink is conducting research and testing post-quantum cryptography technologies to prepare the network for future security challenges as quantum computing technology continues to evolve.
2. Infrastructure for Real-World Assets
InterLink wants to build infrastructure that makes it easier for businesses to tokenize real-world assets and bring their business activities to the blockchain through the InterLink Business Token Exchange (IBTE).
3. Open Mainnet
Targeted for 2027, Open Mainnet will connect InterLink with a broader blockchain ecosystem. Mobile mining will end, while validators, staking, applications, external liquidity, and on-chain activity will play an increasingly important role.
4. Listing on a Tier-1 Exchange
InterLink will work to bring ITL to various major exchanges worldwide. Binance, OKX, and Coinbase are among the primary targets, while continuously strengthening liquidity, compliance, security, and the infrastructure needed by institutions.
5. Expand Digital Asset Treasury Network
Its long-term target is for at least 500 companies and institutions to hold ITL as part of their Digital Asset Treasury, with more than 20% of them being public companies.
6. Expand ITL Utility
InterLink wants to expand the use of ITL across more real-world products and services, including travel, hotels, shopping, food, entertainment, gift cards, digital services, and many other categories.
7. Expand Verification & Democratize Digital Asset Ownership
InterLink will continue to enhance its verification infrastructure so more people around the world can participate in the digital economy and have ITL, while maintaining identity standards, anti-fraud, KYC/AML, and compliance.
The next phase is not only about building technology, but also about expanding utility, adoption, access, and participation in the InterLink ecosystem.
