Many people are still using the label “privacy chain” to look at Dusk. In reality, what’s truly worth watching is the thing it’s trying to do: on-chain settlement for regulated assets.

It’s not just about hiding data. It wants to use confidential contracts + XSC so that financial activities can run on-chain while still passing compliance checks. This direction makes logical sense, but getting the direction right doesn’t automatically mean DUSK will necessarily capture value.

The key issue is that old question: if on-chain settlement happens, does the value really come back to DUSK? Or does the network get used while the token gets bypassed?

So I’m not too focused on the short-term price. What I’d rather see is whether there is real, sustainable financial activity that forces the market to create actual demand for DUSK.

The technical narrative may be believable, but the token has to prove itself.@Dusk #dusk $DUSK
