BTC just surged from above 60,000 all the way to nearly 80,000. On the 4-hour chart, the EMA20, 50, and 200 are all in a bullish alignment, and volume has been cooperating well. My view is very direct: this move is not the top—it’s a strong consolidation. A real top usually comes with a surge in volume alongside a stall, long upper wicks, and extremely FOMO-driven sentiment. Even though the position isn’t low, the structure is still healthy. The pullback so far is controllable, and bullish momentum is still there. When BTC consolidates at high levels, it’s often the main players doing turnover and shaking out the unconfident, then pushing higher again.
In the short term, watch two key levels: support around the EMA20 (about 76,000) and the previous high. If it breaks above the previous high with increased volume, the next target will become clearer.
