Just took a look at SPK’s price trend—it’s kind of interesting.

In the past 24 hours, the increase directly surged to +32%. The lowest point was 0.0172, and the highest touched 0.0242—a move of quite a large magnitude.

But what really caught my attention is the change in trading volume—one of the hourly candlesticks saw its trading value jump straight to 740 million USDT, which is two or three times that of the surrounding candles. This suggests that a large amount of capital flooded into that period.

Next, look at the long/short ratio: longs 50.1% vs shorts 49.9%, almost a 1:1 standoff. After such a big rise, longs surprisingly don’t have a clear advantage. This indicates that the market is highly divided about the outlook—some people chase the rally, while others bet on a drop at high levels.

The funding rate is currently +0.005%, which is relatively low. There’s no extreme risk of longs getting squeezed. In the short term, it’s unlikely that the funding rate alone will trigger a liquidation stampede.

Under these circumstances, the market is likely to enter a consolidation phase to digest the move. After a sharp rally, long/short divergence intensifies, and the market direction will probably require the next clear signal to decide.

For regular users: be cautious about chasing price. When sentiment is split, it’s easy for both sides to end up slapping each other’s faces.
