August Closing Battle: Big Cake—Can It Break Up to 82,000?

This week, the August line is entering its closing battle.

Lao Jin’s view remains very clear: this round of upward move hasn’t finished yet. 82,000 isn’t the endpoint—it’s more like a level to confirm on the next phase.

After the weekly line closed with a big bullish candle, consolidation is normal. Lao Jin also mentioned in advance on Saturday: in the 78,000—75,000 range, chances are it will repeatedly shake around. It’s not that the trend has changed; it’s just building momentum.

In fact, this is somewhat similar to this wave of gold’s movement: after the first surge, there was consolidation, and then it launched a second attempt upward.

So for Bitcoin here, focus on the 75,500—75,000 zone below. As long as this area can hold, the mid-term view remains the same: look for long positions at lower levels, and continue targeting 82,000—83,000.

Ethereum is similar as well. The price action hasn’t strayed from our expectations. Relying on the 2,330—2,260 area below, the mid-term outlook still targets 2,700—2,800 above.

For the short term, the ETH volatility has clearly increased. You can widen the trading range a bit and just make sure your defense is in place.

The market changes every day, but Lao Jin’s logic hasn’t changed.
