According to Foresight News, U.S. Democratic Senator Elizabeth Warren has called on Congress to hold a hearing regarding UAE National Security Advisor Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed Al Nahyan's acquisition of WLFI shares. The deal was signed by Eric Trump, with $187 million flowing into Trump family entities, and at least $31 million directed to entities related to Trump ally Steve Witkoff. Warren described this as corrupt behavior, demanding the reversal of the decision to sell sensitive AI chips to the UAE and calling for relevant individuals to testify before Congress.
