Where does Tether (USDT) not go?
Tether is the most popular stablecoin, but it has limitations due to concerns about the transparency of its reserves:
European Union (MiCA Regulation): Due to the entry into force of MiCA rules, many European exchanges (e.g., OKX, Coinbase) have limited or completely stopped support for #USDT for users in the EU, giving preference to fully regulated stablecoins (e.g., #USDC ).
Traditional U.S. banks: U.S.-registered banks are extremely reluctant to work with Tether because of sanctions risks and regulatory pressure.
Some licensed venues: Exchanges that aim for full legality in strict jurisdictions (the U.S., Japan) prioritize USDC or their own stablecoins.
