Recently, a very dear friend gave me a backpack that’s quite a luxury, with spaces to organize almost anything I can think of. It has bottle holders, a special compartment for a laptop, and even a combination lock 😍
It goes without saying that I’m grateful and in love with my gift, and today, while organizing some things, I realized it’s not just a container meant to hold a thousand items at once to move them around. In reality, this backpack is made with just one purpose in mind: the security of my documents and belongings.
It was impossible not to think about protocol @Dusk , but not only because of the security aspect—also because of something even more curious: ignorance! I liked the fact that the lock was there because it looks cool, but I had no idea how to use it or what it was for. And indeed, it’s not just a nice accessory—it works to lock the zippers so it can’t be opened.
This makes me think about how protocol $DUSK helps us safeguard what’s important, preventing our private data from being easily leaked. But even though the protocol is there and we have the tools at our disposal, we don’t use them because we simply don’t know them.
Knowing #dusk and knowing how to keep my important data protected is, for me, one of the best news from this weekend.
