Someone put sell orders for Bitcoin at $80,000—once placed, they’ve stayed there for over a hundred days.

Binance users have the highest concentration of these orders. Around $80,000 there are about $13.2 million in sell orders, and near $82,500 there are another $33.27 million.

HODL15Capital pulled this from order book data.

Placing an order and actually selling are two different things. Some orders are posted just to be seen; when the price actually comes close, it’s only then that you find out—whether they get canceled or whether they truly get filled.

HODL15Capital’s view is that these sell orders resting for such a long time suggest the real selling pressure may not be as strong as it looks on the surface.
