BNB just touched the $700 mark and is holding it!📈
I was watching the charts early this morning. Today BNB’s high reached $720, up nearly 9% in the last 24 hours.
The reason behind it is pretty straightforward—BNB Chain’s Pasteur upgrade is scheduled for August 25, which is the day after tomorrow. This upgrade mainly aims to improve on-chain performance, reduce transaction latency, and attract more DeFi projects to move over. Before the upgrade, everyone buys on expectations—same old playbook, but it works every time.
From a price perspective, $700 is a psychological level. Once it holds, many are eyeing the next target at $750. Its market cap is currently the world’s fourth, on par with BTC, ETH, and XRP.
Of course, upgrade news being positive can sometimes follow the “buy the expectation, sell the fact” pattern. If it rallies too fast, there may be a pullback after the upgrade—so keep an eye on it.
