$TAC: Just now that wave of heavy volume—are they building a position, or distributing?

In the past few hours, the trading volume has been 23.0 times higher than usual.

Price: 0.0019, down 28.3% over the past 24 hours.

This kind of volume level can’t be generated by retail traders.

Behind it, there must be big money moving.

But what are they doing?

It’s not clear yet.

Open interest (OI) is up 25.4%, and the funding rate is 0.022%.

There are two possibilities.

First:
Big money is building a position. OI rises in sync, and we may see a directional breakout next.

Second:
Big money is distributing. OI falls in sync, and after the volume has been absorbed, the price will actually drop.

So I’m asking myself one question right now:

If I were that big player, what would I most want retail traders to do here?

Often, the answer is right there in the order book.

I only wait for two levels:

Break above 0.0026, with volume still continuing → follow.

Break below 0.0019, with OI picking back up → bearish.

The volume moved first—wait for price to give the answer.
