Public blockchains made transparency the default.

That sounds great—until you try putting regulated securities on-chain.

Institutions need privacy, but regulators still need auditability. That tension is where I find @Dusk most interesting.

Dusk approaches it at the protocol level: Moonlight keeps flows public when visibility matters, while Phoenix uses ZK-based shielded transactions with selective disclosure when confidentiality matters. Zedger/XSC adds compliance-focused controls for regulated securities, while Dusk Trade, DuskEVM and Hedger push those capabilities toward actual market workflows.

Then there’s SA consensus, designed for fast, deterministic settlement—something financial markets care about far more than another flashy TPS number.

That’s why I don’t see Dusk as simply another RWA tokenization play.

The bigger bet is infrastructure where privacy and compliance coexist from the start.

The real question: for institutions moving on-chain, which is harder to solve—privacy or regulatory compliance?
