I always thought “DYOR” basically meant reading a bunch of threads, checking the website, and hoping I didn’t miss something important.

So I asked #miraAi :

“Teach me how to properly research a crypto project before investing.”

The answer honestly gave me a better process to follow.

Instead of just looking at the chart or the hype, it made me check things like:

• Does the project actually have a working product?
• Who is behind it?
• How does the token supply work?
• When are the team and VC tokens unlocking?
• Who holds most of the supply?
• Is there real liquidity and volume?
• Is the project generating actual revenue?
• Are people really using it?
• What are the competitors?
• And why is the project getting attention right now?

That last part is important.

A project can have a great narrative and still have terrible tokenomics.

It can have thousands of followers and barely any real users.

It can have huge volume that doesn't necessarily mean genuine demand.

So now, instead of asking “Should I buy this?”, I’d rather start with:

“What am I actually buying?”

Mira doesn't make the decision for me. It just helps me ask better questions and organize the research.

And honestly, that’s probably one of the most useful ways I’ve found to use AI in crypto.
