STX, over these 15 minutes it climbed 3%, but what truly caught my attention is the sustained buildup in OI— the 1h contract position increased by 3.19%, with a notional change of 404K. And this OI anomaly has been hovering near the 96.8th percentile for several consecutive cycles, ranking third across the whole pool. It’s not that kind of sudden breakout short-term pulse; it’s more like leveraged longs steadily adding, in a consistent cadence.

With volume amplified by 3x and active buying dominance (buy/sell ratio 1.24), plus price and OI rising in sync—this structure doesn’t look weak. But honestly, once you push toward the area near historical extreme levels, for it to keep going higher you’ll need bigger incremental capital to hold the move. Otherwise it’s just the “existing leveraged players” playing musical chairs with each other’s pockets.

Watch and follow along—don’t chase. The key is to keep an eye on whether OI turns.
