The Possibility of Freezing Stablecoins (USDT, USDC, JPYC)
And Their Relationship with TRON
~ I looked into it for study purposes‼️

[Comparison of Freezing Risks of the 3 Major Coins]

🔴 USDT: High risk. Can be frozen on-chain immediately via Tether’s blacklist designation (many cases)
🟡 USDC: Moderately high risk. In accordance with U.S. regulations, it will respond immediately if authorities request
🟢 JPYC: Low risk. No arbitrary individual-freeze function in smart contracts

💡 What exactly is TRON (TRC-20)? It’s the most widely used blockchain in the world as a payment infrastructure for USDT transfers. Compared to Ethereum (ETH), it has “low gas fees (tens to hundreds of yen) and transfers complete in a few seconds,” giving it overwhelming market share as a network for moving between overseas exchanges and for peer-to-peer transfers.

⚠️ Pay attention to the separation of “infrastructure” and “assets”
People tend to think “TRON is fast and cheap, so it’s safe,” but network capabilities and token ownership rights are separate.
Even if it’s USDT (TRC-20) running on the TRON chain, if Tether’s administrator authority (the blacklist function) is executed, it may prevent the funds at specified addresses on TRON from being moved in one shot.

“Even if the infrastructure (TRON) is convenient, the freezing risk of the token (USDT) itself doesn’t disappear‼️

This is an important point to keep in mind.
