#dusk $DUSK @Dusk I’m testing Dusk not from presentations. I’m interested in what actually works and how it could change people’s behavior.
DuskEVM hooked me for exactly that.
On one hand — a familiar EVM and Solidity. No need to break the entire development approach.
On the other — Hedger, which adds privacy through homomorphic encryption and ZK proofs.
The simple idea is to prove that everything is fine without showing everything.
For finance, this may be more important than it seems.
Because right now the choice often is either: an open blockchain where you can see too much, or a closed system where you just have to trust.
Dusk is trying to provide a third option.
And that’s where the interesting numbers come in. NPEX, a regulated European exchange, plans to move assets worth more than €300 million through Dusk.
But I’m not looking at the €300 million itself.
I’m interested in the moment when a person stops thinking: “Is it safe to show this on the blockchain?”
If privacy removes that fear, could it be the very factor that pushes traditional finance to go on-chain?
