One of my devoted fans found me at the beginning of this year and shared her story with me.

When there’s no clear market action, she can’t help going all-in, and then she starts to ride it out. I told her to follow the trend, to learn how to wait, and even more to learn stop-loss discipline. Missing out isn’t a big deal, but making the wrong move is a real loss.

We chatted online for an entire afternoon. I told her that if we couldn’t understand the next steps, we could study it together. But she felt her mindset wasn’t good, so she wanted me to manage it for her. Since all of this inherently involves risk, I refused. I still think it’s better if she operates on her own. Later on, she kept making her request in a lower posture, hoping I would agree.

Then I told her that if I helped her with the operations, within a year she shouldn’t ask me whether she’s making money or losing it. If, along the way, we achieved the results I had in mind, I would tell her. Today, I finally reached my goal, and I told her the news: I went from 2,500 units to 5,500 units. She was extremely excited. At first, she wanted to give me 2,000 units as a reward, but I casually told her that all of this was because of good luck on my part. In the end, I only accepted 1,000 units as the reward.
