Will you be joining? Let me introduce this project.
The @TermMax core builds an on-chain interest-rate trading mechanism for the fixed-income market. It adopts the concentrated-liquidity idea from Uniswap V3: splitting one USDC into FT principal and XT interest, and letting users set different APR ranges themselves, so that the borrowing interest rate falls into different ranges based on the volume of transactions.
What’s worth noting is that it turns interest rates—from a single number uniformly provided by the protocol—into a liquidity curve that can be configured proactively. Users can decide which interest-rate range their funds operate in; the actual APR will also change depending on the borrowing amount.
More importantly, TermMax specifically addresses the pricing issue of fixed-income assets whose value changes with time to maturity, and it incorporates trading fees, time decay, and multi-range curves into the AMM pricing model.
So, I think the key keyword that truly deserves attention is: can interest rates be market-made the way prices are?
