$XRP is 1.45 now. Yesterday it was grinding under the local top and bottom at 1.43, but today it just broke through in one straight stab. In three days it’s climbed from 0.99 to nearly a 45% gain. The bull market that’s been dragging on outside still hasn’t stopped: ETF inflows, the White House summit, and Trump personally introducing it—everything’s in place. Is it another one of those scripts—rising the more people shout, while the money keeps flowing out?

I admit the rise. I really do: up more than 40% in seven days, with the last four hours straight upward, and contract open positions are still building higher.

But the money— the more I look at it, the more it feels hollow. Spot net outflow is nearly $200 million over the past three hours. None of the 12 candles turned positive. Big orders are still net selling. On the order book, the bid side is thinner than the ask side, and the proportion of active buys is tragically low. The price is being pushed up by futures and leverage; on the spot side, fewer and fewer people are stepping in to buy.

On the other side of leverage, it’s still piling on. The amount of borrowed coins is up by more than 20%. Spot long/short positioning gets blown up, and longs are squeezed into a crowded pile. At this level, indicators are already high, volatility is amplified—one little gust of bad news, and a pullback would look ugly.

Chasing longs at this point isn’t great in terms of value. It’s not that I expect it to crash right away; it’s more that this kind of rise is being kept alive by leverage. Since spot hasn’t truly provided fresh “real money” buying, any pullback will be uncomfortable. It’s better to wait for a pullback and see how well it’s being absorbed than to chase at the top.

It’s really unbeatable—making money doesn’t feel steady at all.
