Composable Base Yield: A Different Way to Build DeFi Vaults 🧩
One of the concepts I find interesting in @TermMax V2 is Composable Base Yield.
Instead of treating a vault as a completely independent strategy, TermMax allows curators to select an underlying yield source as the foundation of a vault. This means existing DeFi infrastructure can potentially become part of a broader TermMax strategy.
The V2 design highlights support for established yield sources such as Aave and ERC-4626 standard vaults, including protocols like Morpho. The goal is to create a more composable framework where different sources of yield can work together.
For curators, this opens up more flexibility to design differentiated strategies rather than relying on a single approach. For depositors, it could create opportunities to combine base yield with additional fixed-rate returns from TermMax markets.
The bigger idea is what makes this interesting: instead of rebuilding everything from zero, DeFi protocols can connect existing infrastructure and create new financial strategies on top of it.
Composable DeFi could be one of the keys to making fixed-rate markets more flexible and efficient. 🚀
