Bitcoin is once again at the center of market attention. Over the past week $BTC it has added more than 20% and climbed to $78,000–$80,000—one of the strongest weekly moves in years. (The Wall Street Journal)
Why is BTC rising?
Several factors influenced the market at the same time:
• weakening of the US dollar;
• expectations of a more favorable regulatory environment for the crypto market;
• growth in institutional interest;
• improved liquidity following the U.S. Treasury’s actions in the bond market. (Reuters)
After such a surge, the main area of focus is $80,000. A confident breakout could strengthen the bullish scenario, while rejection of this level could lead to profit-taking and a pullback.
At the same time, it’s important to remember: a rapid rise doesn’t mean the price will keep moving up without corrections.
The main question now is whether $BTC can hold above $80,000. This could become the next important signal for the market.
Not financial advice. Cryptocurrencies are highly volatile.
