In the past 48 hours, the performance of $ENA has been unusually strong.
After starting in the roughly $0.08–$0.09 range, the price quickly broke through $0.12, peaking near $0.147. In a single 24-hour period, the gain at one point exceeded 40%, and over the past 7 days the cumulative increase is about 60%–65%.
Trading volume and open interest both expanded in tandem. Open interest (OI) rose to above $550 million, and market attention increased markedly.
After reviewing information from various sources, we found that there are three main factors driving this unusual move:
Institutional-level progress
Ethena and FalconX announced the launch of an approximately $1 billion secured warehouse facility. This facility allows assets that support USDe to be used for institutional-grade overcollateralized borrowing, further expanding the protocol’s revenue sources and institutional use cases.
This is a positive signal for the sustainability of the stablecoin business.

Opinion leader viewpoints catalyze
Arthur Hayes has publicly stated that, ENA in an environment where Bitcoin is strengthening and funding rates improve, it may achieve several-fold upside potential (in his words, “5 bagger is just too easy”).This kind of view can easily attract more traders in a short period of time.

Market sentiment resonance
Recently, overall risk appetite in the crypto market has rebounded. The DeFi sector has performed strongly, and as a high-beta asset, ENA typically shows greater elasticity.
From a technical and fundamentals perspective:
Near-term resistance is concentrated in the $0.14–$0.15 range.
If it holds steady on increased volume, it may continue testing higher levels;
If it faces resistance and pulls back, the $0.11–$0.12 area is the prior breakout level—focus on how strong the support is.
The protocol itself still depends on the funding rate, the size of USDe, and institutional adoption. You should also keep an eye on future unlock pressure and macro volatility.
This unusual move is a typical “high-volatility + event-driven” market.
Personally, I’m more inclined to view it as the market’s interim pricing of the protocol’s progress, rather than confirmation of a one-way trend.
What do you all think?
In this $ENA move, is the rally mainly driven by event catalysts, by the broader market, or by both equally—who deserves the credit?
Are you more focused on short-term technical breakouts, or on the protocol’s long-term fundamentals (USDe size and earnings stability)?
