To be honest and speak from the heart, if you can hold greed in check, making money in the crypto market is actually a lot easier than you’d think.
This line of making money isn’t that mysterious. The hard part isn’t knowing what to do—it’s being able to control yourself. If you lose, you can’t bear to cut; you just hold on, waiting for a rebound. You always think, “Let me take a bit more time. I’ll make a little more before I leave.” In the end, you sink deeper and deeper, while repeatedly comforting yourself, “It’s about to reverse any moment now.” When I first got into this industry, I stayed up every night, chasing pumps and cutting at the wrong times, and I’d lose so much I couldn’t sleep for entire nights.
Later, I used a few kind of “clumsy” methods, and only then did I slowly get my rhythm under control: If there isn’t a reliable signal, I never place a trade. If I miss it, I miss it—losing money is what’s truly deadly.
A few hard-earned lessons paid for with real money:
Trading at night is steadier than trading in the daytime. In the day, the news flow is messy and the market whipsaws—one careless moment and you get lured in.
Don’t place trades based on hunches. Check a few technical indicators; only act when at least two signals line up.
Stop-loss must be set. Before heading out, set a strict stop-loss directly—this guards against that sudden, massive spike.
Avoid getting involved with random, low-quality altcoins. Those with poor liquidity and that mostly run on hype are often there to deliver money to the operators.
