In trading, we’ll have good and bad moments.
I opened a position but left out a very important detail—the Stop Loss. I usually trade without an SL, but if you’re not going to be 100% on top of the trade, it’s always advisable to set it. That’s why I want to show you, with an example, how you can prevent the same thing from happening to you too, trader who’s just starting out.
How can you avoid liquidation?
🚫 Use stop orders
A stop-loss order is a trading tool that Binance Futures offers to set an automatic exit price for a trade if the price of an asset reaches this predetermined level. Using a stop-loss order together with a Liquidation Calculator can help protect the trader’s account from incurring significant losses and especially from liquidation.
🚀 Reduce leverage
A lot of leverage can hurt a trader even with the smallest price movement. Therefore, using lower leverage will help you safely and calmly navigate the volatile crypto market.
📈👀 Monitor the margin rate
When the margin rate reaches 100%, the position will be liquidated. To avoid this outcome, traders can add more margin to lower the margin rate or reduce their positions.
👂🏻 Follow these steps and your position won’t be liquidated quickly.
I wish your trades are always green 🍀🔥
