Gainers Board #26, Trending Searches Still Online: This Frog, $PEPE , Holds the Market Up with “Being Remembered”

Today is a broad up-day. The most outrageous thing on the board is $ONG at +143%, but what I care about more is PEPE near the bottom of the list—up +13.70% in the last 24 hours, with $62.80 million in volume and 168,000 trades, and it’s also simultaneously pinned on CoinGecko’s global trending searches.

The biggest gain isn’t necessarily the most interesting. What’s clever here is that both the “gainers board” and “trending searches” are online at the same time. A coin either gets lifted by capital, or gets pushed by conversation; this PEPE move feels more like the latter. In terms of pedigree, PEPE is one of the oldest meme coins in the crypto space—everyone knows it, and it doesn’t need any explanation. On days like this when the whole market rises, when hot money returns, it often first looks for coins that don’t require telling a story. Familiar old faces naturally get priority, and analysts overseas have started discussing its bottoming patterns.

A行情 supported by “cultural memory” is not quite like a single-day breakout surge. You can’t really say whether it will rise tomorrow, but what you can be sure of is that it won’t be forgotten overnight the way brand-new projects often are. The gainers board changes faces every day; what’s truly difficult is across several cycles—whether people still remember it, and whether they’re still willing to come back. That’s exactly why I’m watching that little pack of $ETH dogs 🐶 from the Silicon Valley Iron Man den. A pump can manufacture candles, but consensus can manufacture history. What can be left behind by time is the real thing.
