🔥 BTC breaks through $75,000, the market enters an acceleration phase
This week, the crypto market has risen for the third consecutive day.
BTC briefly broke through $75,000–$77,000, with a 24-hour gain of about 7–9% and a weekly gain nearing 20%; ETH is above $2,350–$2,380, with a weekly gain of about 24–25%.
Total market cap has once again reclaimed $2.5 trillion, as the Fear & Greed Index rises to 72|Greed.
🚄 This time, it’s not just FOMO driving the move
💰 Spot BTC ETFs keep attracting inflows
On Aug 20, spot BTC ETFs saw net inflows of about $600–$608 million; spot ETH ETFs saw net inflows of about $220 million, one of the strongest single-day performances since Oct 2025.
Institutional capital is becoming an important fuel for this breakout.
💥 The Short Squeeze is still ongoing
In the past 24 hours alone, roughly $1.0–$1.2 billion in short positions were liquidated again.
In the past 2–3 days, the cumulative liquidation amount has already reached about $3.8–$4.0 billion+.
Shorts are repeatedly forced to close, further amplifying upward momentum.
🇺🇸 Trump: The U.S. once discussed large-scale accumulation of BTC
As U.S. Treasury debt surpassed $40 trillion, Trump said the U.S. government had discussed the possibility of large-scale accumulating Bitcoin and other crypto assets.
If, in the future, the strategy further shifts from “holding reserves” to active buying, the market narrative could be upgraded again.
📈 BTC is breaking out of a six-week consolidation range 😀#比特币日内触及75500美元
